Polyethylene pipes for cable protection

PIPES FOR THE PROTECTION OF CABLES

CABLEX pipes are made of black high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and are specifically designed for the protection of cables in underground ducts. With decades of experience in the design and manufacture of cable protection piping systems, Idrotherm 2000 offers a wide range of solutions with technical performances carefully tailored to specific requirements, depending both on the type of application and the installation method. By combining the selection of raw materials with state-of-the-art production techniques and rigorous quality control, all the cable protection piping systems supplied are characterized by high standards of safety and long-term durability.

CABLEX STANDARD pipes comply with DIN 16874 and CEI EN 61386-24 standards and are widely used in the telecommunications sector and for cable protection in open-trench installations.

The CABLEX range of pipes, also available in the EXTRA and INCREASED RT versions, can be installed using both traditional laying methods and trenchless micro-tunnelling technology, thanks to their high tensile strength resulting from the excellent performance of the materials used.

The range is completed by the new CABLEX PSV pipes, which bear the “Plastica Seconda Vita” (Second Life Plastics) certification mark—an environmental product certification system dedicated to materials and products made from recycled plastic waste. This certification refers to the recycled content percentages indicated in the Circular of 4 August 2004 implementing Ministerial Decree DM 203/2003 on Green Public Procurement and complies with UNI EN ISO 14021.

Also available are double-wall corrugated polyethylene pipes, supplied with matching coupling sleeves, compliant with the applicable CEI EN standards and featuring high resistance to crushing, available in different sizes and colors.
