PE100 polyethylene pipe for passing electrical cables
Black PE100 RC-RT (higher temperature resistance) pipe with a double red coextrusion strip and a smooth surface for underground laying, including by trenchless techniques, to protect cables for electrical systems, compliant with DIN 8074/75 and CEI EN 50626-1.
PE pipes for the protection of high-voltage power lines
CABLEX INCREASED RT-RC pipes are made of polyethylene grades specially designed for the protection of cables for the distribution of high voltage electrical energy. Combining raw material selection with state-of-the-art production techniques CABLEX INCREASED RT-RC delivers excellent long-term performance.
High temperature applications
Faced with new challenges, arising from the need to bury high-voltage electrical cables, an increase in the performance of pipelines to be used as sheaths is essential. For high voltage networks up to 525 kV, assuming a continuous temperature of up to 70 °C, it is advisable to use a specific type of polyethylene with greater temperature resistance called PE100 RT (type 2), capable of ensuring better long-term performance.
Junction
Connections between CABLEX INCREASED RT-RC pipes can be performed by head-to-head welding, electrofusion welding or by mechanical joining with simple and quick-use sleeves capable of ensuring maximum sealing.
Compatible with Sistema Simply Fit
Pipe system + connection with heat-sealed cup joint that allows for the safe, fast, and extremely reliable construction of polyethylene nets for the transport and distribution of drinking or drinking water and pressurized wastewater.
