HM-EXTRAFORT Polypropylene Pipes
HM-EXTRAFORT PSV pipes consist of an innovative multilayer structure, based on high elastic modulus polypropylene, in which three coextruded layers perform specific functions.
Inner layer
White in color for CCTV inspection, characterized by high abrasion resistance, excellent chemical and pH resistance.
Intermediate layer
With load-bearing function, added with mineral charges and characterized by high impact resistance, tenacity and rigidity even at low temperatures and subjected to extreme stresses.
Outer layer
White in colour, for protection against atmospheric agents and characterised by a high modulus of elasticity (high rigidity) for protection against possible actions on the external surface.
Applications
The many advantages of the HM-EXTRAFORT PSV system make it usable in a wide range of application areas. In addition to the use for normal discharge pipes and sewerage systems, special situations such as maximum resistance to loads or unfavorable laying conditions can be fully successfully addressed thanks to the HM-EXTRAFORT PSV system.
Some examples of applications of the HM-EXTRAFORT PSV system are as follows:
- for canalizations of all kinds (black water, rainwater, in roads, airports, road and rail tunnels)
- for low temperature poses without the danger of breakage thanks to the high impact resistance of the material
- in industrial waste in the presence of chemically aggressive substances
- for laying in areas subject to heavy vehicular traffic (SLW 60) and airports
- in case of temperature variations of the transported fluids with peaks up to 90 °C (industrial areas, large kitchens, laundries)
- for poses with very high slope by virtue of exceptional abrasion resistance
- for poses with reduced slope thanks to high longitudinal rigidity and extremely smooth internal walls
- for poses in muddy and generally difficult terrain and for each filling height
- in the event of an extremely high sealing requirement for water protection zones
Environmental product certification
The HM-EXTRAFORT PSV pipes are in possession of the “Plastica Seconda Vita” brand, an environmental product certification system dedicated to the materials and products obtained from the valorization of plastic waste from industrial waste regeneration circuits (PSV SI) and separate collection (PSV RD) which refers to the percentages of recycled products reported in the circular of 4 August 2004, implementing Ministerial Decree 203/2003 on Green Public Procurement, and the UNI EN ISO 14021 standard.
