Approval WRAS

Polyethylene pipes RENO 100 for the supply of drinking water have received the WRAS (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) approval for the installations beyond entry to the consumer’s building in the United Kingdom.

After passing the strict requirements of the BS 6920 (2014) standard concerning the use of non-metallic products in contact with water for human use, the range RENO 100 was successfully included in the database of the WRAS Water Fittings Directory (for more information, visit www.wras.co.uk/directory).
This approval, along with the one released by the DWI – Drinking Water Inspectorate – for the use of the Reno 100 pipes (jointed both by butt-welding and electrofusion) from the point of abstraction of water to the stopcock completes the necessary approval scheme for the distribution of RENO 100 pipes across the UK (for more information, visit www.dwi.gov.uk/drinking-water-products/approved-products).
