PIPES FOR THE TRANSPORT OF CABLES
Idrotherm 2000 produces polyethylene pipes for the protection of cables and fiber-optics in telecommunications.
The Cablex range is divided into polyethylene pipes of various diameters. They have smooth surfaces with possible internal grooves to favour the insertion of the fiber-optics by means of compressed air (blowing technique): the reduction of the contact surface and the negligible friction coefficient allows laying of long cable with minimal effort.
They are available in coils of variable colours and length, according to the technical specifications of the customer, in addition to any additional requirements for use in environments requiring higher safety standards with regards to fire resistance.
For applications distinguished by higher safety requirements, the product: FIRE 1000 is available. A fireproof hose with major resistance to heat and low novice gases which is used in potentially at risk fire areas (road tunnels, rail tunnels and so on). The produced pipes can be installed either with the traditional methods of micro tunnelling no-dig technology, thanks to the considerable resistance to pressure resulting from the backfilling material and to torsional stresses.
Also available are polyethylene corrugated double-walled pipes, supplied with couplers, conforming to the CEI EN standard, and characterised by a high resistance to crushing, in different sizes and colours.
